Like your vehicle, parts wear out. Some conventional systems
utilize single or no wear rings that lead to quick wearing of major components. Our dual wear ring
design provides a safeguard for the longevity of your pump’s impeller and bowl assembly, bringing
back the performance and efficiency to like new conditions.
* Standard on JTS models; optional on JT models; N/A to the JM and JP
model designs.
The backbone holding it all
together.
With precision pump shaft quality materials, a ridged solid core,
and corrosion resistant stainless steel as a standard, the vibration, pitting, and wearing of the
shaft is significantly reduced, giving you one less thing to worry about.
* Several stainless steel alloys are available.
More than a standard column… a superior one.
Extra thick, rigid column walls ensure shaft and bearing
stability, creating ultra-smooth operation for years of rugged use. Add that to the low-friction,
free-flowing passages, and you’ve got yourself a premium design…as a standard!
Great design from the beginning.
Every great pump starts with a great inlet, packed with advanced
design features. As flow starts here, optimal conditions into the first impeller are needed. With a
gradual inlet flare, and anti-vortex and flow stabilizing vanes leading the way, flow is improved to
extend overall service life.
As if that’s not enough, an integral shaft stabilizer bearing helps
minimize deflection and vibration through a rigid shaft end connection. Standard features for
anything but a standard product.

Safety first. Sacrifice elsewhere.
Ensuring everyone’s health
with clean drinking water is a serious concern. Fortunately, the JTS pump models are fully NSF
61/372 certified through UL from top to bottom on all wetted parts. There’s no need to take chances
on non-certified materials.
* This feature is exclusive to the
JTS model.
Something for everyone.
In the 100+ years of Johnston Pump history, we were bound to have added a few models to the
product portfolio. From open or closed channel, mixed-flow, and propeller designs with a range
of sizes from 6” – 80” [150mm – 2,000mm], flows up to 270,000 USgpm [17,000 l/s], and heads up
to 380’ [116 m] per stage, there’s likely a pump to fit your needs.
* JTS model range is limited from 6” – 36” [150mm – 900mm] with flows up to 25,000 USgpm [1,580
l/s].
